Talar Made are NATO approved suppliers of prescription orthotics to the MOD. These Talar Made Route1 orthotics have been designed for use by the military working in arduous terrains from deserts to swamps.
The Route1 orthotic cups the heel and supports the arch of the foot which reduces foot and leg fatigue and thereby improves endurance and performance. The cushioning on the underside of the orthotic provides protection of high pressure areas which is particularly important when carrying heavy loads such as backpacks. This can help prevent the development of blisters and sore spots.
